Stainless Steel Ironmongery Finishes

Environmentally friendly, recyclable metal.

Stainless steel is a robust and therefore widely used material in the ironmongery industry for many product types.  It is generally made from a mixture of elements such as iron, chromium, nickel and carbon with varying amounts of each giving the differing grades of the material.  Available mainly in satin (or brushed) and polished (or bright) finishes, it’s grades 304 and 316 are particularly good options for use in corrosive environments. It also gives flexibility and the ability to create different pieces through folding and welding techniques.
