We are delighted to announce that two of our projects have been shortlisted for The GAI/RIBA Specification Awards 2016/2017.

Architectural ironmongers, architects, contractors and building owners have nominated projects in accordance with the different award categories. Nominations have shown architectural ironmongery at its best; enhancing not only the security, accessibility and safety of the building, but also adding to its functionality and longevity.

Having beaten off stiff competition in two of the five categories, our projects “Hop House” in the‘Residential’ category and “The Weston Library” in the ‘Public Health & Education’ category are down to the final 5 and 4 projects of each category respectively.  Over the last few weeks, the shortlisted projects have all been visited and adjudicated in person by an expert panel of architectural ironmongers and architects before the final decisions and winners are chosen.  The winners are to be announced at the awards ceremony being held at RIBA’s London headquarters towards the end of March.

Managing Director Tom Planck commented, We are delighted that two of our projects have made it to the final shortlists and we’re thoroughly looking forward to the awards ceremony.  It’s testament to the knowledge, skills and advice that our staff can provide to our clients not just for the ordinary but the extraordinary projects as well.”
