It was recently announced that David Wilson Homes has been approved planning permission for a further 154 homes in the Ebbsfleet Garden city project. The homes will consist of one to five bedroom properties in Castle Hill. The news comes as work has started on the site for a further 473 homes in the area.

Countryside Homes returns to the community for the first time in four years to start work on the second phase of the development at Springhead Park to create 123 new homes. Whilst Redrow has almost completed their first show home for their projected 180 homes in the Garden City and Charles Church has started groundwork’s for their phase of 170 residential units.

Planning permission was approved in March for a new 420-pupil primary school in Castle Hill which will be unveiled in September 2017.

Paul Spooner, an interim chief executive at Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, said: “Our strong planning service has granted permission for new homes from David Wilson Homes which is a fantastic contribution to the continuing growth of the garden city.

“With another three developers already carrying out groundwork at Ebbsfleet Green, Eastern Quarry and Springhead Park we are seeing real momentum in the pace at which new homes will be delivered.”
